Statement regarding the 2020 Delaware Valley Bluegrass Festival

The Brandywine Friends of Old Time Music, after much consideration, has decided to postpone the 2020 Delaware Valley Bluegrass Festival due to the continuing threat posed by the COVID 19 pandemic.

At this time, it is likely that New Jersey will continue to have in effect regulations on Labor Day Weekend that will make it impossible to hold the Festival, including but not limited to restrictions on the number of people allowed to congregate in a location as well as the required distance between people.

Please be assured that the Board of the BFOTM took this step very reluctantly and only after the most careful consideration. We have every intention of resuming the Delaware Valley Bluegrass Festival on Labor Day Weekend 2021.

We regret having to take this drastic step but the unforeseeable nature of the pandemic and its likely continuation through this Labor Day poses a danger of exposure and a risk to the health of prospective attendees, volunteers, staff, and performers. Thank you for your understanding, and we hope to see you next year.

The 2021 Line Up will be posted when finalized.
